// COACHING / 1:1 — for founders, operators, creatives & misfits

Coaching that doesn't feel like coaching.

Direct, practical support for people who need clarity, accountability, better systems, and sharper decisions — without corporate jargon or motivational fluff.

[01] Who this is for and who it isn't

Built for people drowning in operational chaos, not vibe checks.

CLIENT / 01

Founders

You started this thing. Now you're the bottleneck. Decisions stall when you're not in the room. You need to stop being the operating system.

→ 0–50 person teams · pre-Series B
CLIENT / 02

Operators

You've inherited the mess. COOs, heads of ops, chiefs of staff trying to retrofit a real operating rhythm onto a company that grew faster than its systems.

→ COO · CoS · Head of Ops
CLIENT / 03

Creatives

You make great work. The business side feels gross. You're tired of underpricing yourself and saying yes to clients who burn your week.

→ studios · agencies · solo
CLIENT / 04

Product & delivery leaders

Your team ships, but the meetings around it are killing them. Strategy keeps getting rewritten between idea and standup.

→ Director+ · cross-functional
CLIENT / 05

Emerging leaders

You got promoted. Nobody told you the actual job. You're inventing the playbook in real time while the team watches.

→ first-time managers · senior ICs
CLIENT / 06

Misfits

You've been told you're "not corporate enough." Good. Translate that into commercial sharpness without becoming the thing you escaped.

→ anyone allergic to LinkedIn
[02] How it works 4 steps · 90 days

A working relationship, not a content drip.

01

First Session

A 90-minute deep read on your current operating model. I find the three things actually breaking execution.

// What happens

  • [+] Map current rhythm, decisions, ownership and meetings
  • [+] Identify the top 3 management failures
  • [+] Written diagnosis + 30-day action plan delivered within 5 days
02

Install

Weekly working sessions while I install the systems that fix what's broken — meetings, cadence, ownership, decision rights.

// What I install

  • [+] Operating rhythm: weekly / monthly / quarterly
  • [+] Decision rights and accountability map
  • [+] Meeting structure: kill, fix, or keep
  • [+] Prioritization frame your team can actually run
03

Run

Bi-weekly calls + async Slack/Loom for the next quarter. I'm in the trenches with you, not lobbing frameworks from a cliff.

// Ongoing support

  • [+] Bi-weekly 60-min sessions
  • [+] Async messaging access (24-hr response)
  • [+] Loom reviews of your meetings, plans and docs
  • [+] One stand-by hour per month for emergencies
04

Exit

You don't need me forever. The engagement ends when your team is running the system on its own. That's the actual outcome.

// Handoff

  • [+] Documented operating system you own
  • [+] Final review: what's working, what to watch
  • [+] One follow-up check-in 90 days later

I work with a small number of clients each quarter. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you on the first call — not three sessions in.
[04] What you'll hear me say a lot house rules

The principles, plainly.

RULE / 01

Ownership is not a vibe.

If you can't name one person accountable for it, it doesn't exist. I make ownership boring on purpose.

RULE / 02

Meetings produce decisions, or they die.

Every recurring meeting on your calendar needs to justify its existence quarterly. Most won't survive.

RULE / 03

Strategy is what you actually do.

If the deck says one thing and the calendar says another, the calendar wins. I work from the calendar.

RULE / 04

Founders shouldn't be the runtime.

If everything routes through you, you don't have a company. You have a long, expensive job.

RULE / 05

Fewer, faster, better decisions.

Speed and quality aren't opposites. They're both downstream of clarity on who decides what.

RULE / 06

No corporate theater.

If you wouldn't say it in a kitchen, don't say it in a meeting. Plain language only.

[05] FAQ the honest answers

Likely questions.

Is this just business coaching with darker fonts?

No. Most coaching is "how do you feel about that?" for two grand a month. This is operator work: I look at your calendar, your decisions log, your meetings, your org, and we change them. The output is a different week, not a different mindset.

Will I get worksheets and a workbook?

Sometimes — only when a template actually saves time. The deliverable is your real operating system running better, not a PDF you'll never reopen.

I'm pre-revenue. Should I bother?

Probably not yet, unless you're co-founders fighting about ownership. Most pre-revenue teams need customers more than they need systems. I'll tell you that for free on the first call.

How is this different from a fractional COO?

A fractional COO runs the system. I help you build the system and then leave. If you genuinely need someone in the seat, I'll refer you out.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes — standard mutual NDA, no problem. Default mode is anything you tell me is confidential regardless.

Can my whole leadership team be in on this?

That's the Embedded Operator package. Founders + 2–4 leaders is the typical shape.

NEXT STEP

Tell me what's broken.

First call is a real conversation, not a sales pitch. If it's a fit, I'll tell you. If it's not, I'll tell you that too.
